Emma Griffiths joined the fashion industry at age 7, modeling for various companies until her mid-20s. During her career as a model, Emma became the face of big companies like GAP, Chanel, Elle, Marie Claire, Samsung and Vogue, among others.
Although her career as a model was on the right track, Emma Griffiths didn’t become a household name until 2002 when she bagged a job as a presenter for MTV UK. During this time, Griffiths interviewed some of the hottest celebrities in the music and film industries. On her own high-ranking show called “Sugar Style,” Emma Griffiths presented news about beauty, fashion and celebrity style. She also became a co-host of the MTV Sunday show “Backstage,” where she reviewed the newly released films and music of the week and interviewed different celebrity guests each week. Emma also had a regular hosting gig for “Total Request Live,” (TRL) alongside Alex Zane and Dave Berry as well as a presenter job for another MTV show called “Totally Boyband Live.”
From 2005 to 2007, Emma Griffiths was seen on various specials and TV shows, including “Never Mind the Buzzcocks,” “The Record of the Year 2005,” “GMTV,” “Richard & Judy,” “The Most Annoying Pop Songs… We Hate to Love,” and “Katie & Peter: Unleashed.” Griffiths was also seen on the celebrity special of “Adrenaline Junkie.” In 2006, Emma Griffiths co-hosted the ITV2’s live backstage coverage of “The Prince’s Trust 30th birthday celebration.” Emma also graced the cover of Maxim’s March 2006 issue and has been featured on several FHM magazine issues.
Emma Griffiths took another presenting job for MTV when the network aired a new show called “Pick Me MTV!,” wherein contestants have to fight for a spot as a new MTV presenter. During judging, Emma deliberated with Trevor Nelson and Alesha Dixon in choosing which contestants to send home.
2008 was a busy year for Emma Griffiths; she appeared at the Empire Movie Awards as an interviewer, became a presenter for “27 Dresses: Movie Special,” co-hosted “Xpose,” covered the BAFTA for E! and presented the “Red Bull Flugtag” on ITV. That same year, Emma was ranked #51 on FHM’s list of “100 Sexiest Women in the World.” One of Griffith’s most notable TV appearances are the week-long guest-host for Big Brother’s “Big Mouth” and the hosting gig with her husband Matt Willis for two seasons of the ITV2 show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here.” The couple also hosted the ITV2 coverage of “THE BRITS.”
